Thinking (coastal) landscape between “artialisation and scientialisation"
Résumé
The article proposes to reflect on the consequences of coastal development and the erosion of the differences between natural landscapes and anthropised landscapes ("man-made natural coasts"), and consequently it tries to envisage the conditions for a new aesthetics of these manufactured landscapes, a hybrid aesthetics associating arts and sciences, ecological behaviours and installations, that we have called "an aesthetic of the greenhouse".
L’article propose de réfléchir aux conséquences des aménagements littoraux et à l’effacement des différences entre paysages naturels et paysages anthropisés (« man-made natural coasts »), par suite il s’efforce d’envisager les conditions d’une nouvelle esthétique de ces paysages manufacturés. La difficulté est double : ces paysages sont mobiles, et ils manquent encore de modèle artistique permettant leur artialisation. Aussi les auteurs se posent la question d’une artialisation scientifique, et d’une esthétique hybride associant arts et sciences, comportements écologiques et installations, ce que nous avons appelé « une esthétique de la serre ».
