The Unit Chimie, Electrochimie Moléculaires et Chimie Analytique (CEMCA) is a Joint Research Unit (UMR 6521) of the CNRS Institute of Chemistry (INC) and the Université de Brest (UBO). This laboratory was created in the early eighties (1981) by the fusion into a single research unit of four teams having expertises in organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry. That is the only research laboratory in chemistry of the university of Brest. Its research topics are oriented towards life sciences and materials. This multidisciplinary research laboratory has recognized expertises in Coordination chemistry, Organometallic chemistry, Organic chemistry, Electrochemistry and Analytical chemistry.
