Vers une Mémoire de Traduction dynamique et multidimensionnelle

Abstract : The term bi-text (Harris, 1988) refers to source and target text correspondences present in the translator ’ s mind. Automatic sentence alignment allowed for the development of the TMX (Translation Memory eXchange) format. At present, translation memories are static tables of correspondences. A transition towards a dynamic multidimensional translation memory is possible through interactive textometric exploration of source and target texts at different levels (words, expressions, discourse frames).
