Abstract : Abstract
The survival time X is the waiting time for an event to occur. This event
may be unique (the canonical being death) but it can also be multiple : when
taking into account not only the survival but also the quality of life, we have
to consider successive sojourn times in successive states of quality of life or
else simultaneous waiting times for diverse degradation events to occur.
